From Passion to Purpose

Svenskt Tehus was born from a simple question: why is exceptional tea so hard to find in Sweden? While the country has a rich tradition of fika and warm beverages, the tea market remained dominated by mass-produced options that failed to capture what tea could truly be.

In 2018, founders Maja and Henrik Nordström set out to change that. After years of travelling through Asia's tea-producing regions, they returned to Stockholm with a mission: to share the depth and diversity of world-class tea with Swedish tea lovers.

We believe that tea is more than a commodity. Every cup represents the work of farmers, the wisdom of generations, and the unique terroir of its origin. When you steep our leaves, you connect with traditions stretching back millennia.

That is why we never compromise on quality. We visit every garden we source from, building relationships that ensure both exceptional tea and fair treatment of the people who grow it.
